  • Direktoratet er ansvarlig for både finansielle risici og ikke-finansielle risici forbundet med EIB-Gruppens virksomhed. Dette omfatter kredit-, markeds-, likviditets- og finansieringsrisici, operationel risiko samt klimarisiko, omdømmerisiko og strategisk risiko. Operationelle risici omfatter risici i forbindelse med IKT, compliance, adfærd, forsikring, databeskyttelse og outsourcing samt risici i forbindelse med politikker vedrørende etik, adfærdskodekser, whistleblowing, bekæmpelse af hvidvaskning af penge, bekæmpelse af finansiering af terrorisme samt retsområder, der ikke opfylder internationale normer.

    Direktoratet udfører uafhængig identifikation, vurdering, overvågning og rapportering om de risici, som Banken er eksponeret for, i dets egenskab af en uafhængig ekstra sikkerhedsforanstaltning med direkte adgang til Bankens ledelsesorganer.
