The EIB Environment Framework builds on the EIB Group Climate Bank Roadmap. It provides a comprehensive summary of the EIB’s readiness and interest in supporting investments that deliver environmental benefits across the four environmental objectives: pollution prevention and control; sustainable use and protection of water and marine resources; transition to a circular economy; protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems. With a focus on additionality and impact, it also highlights how EIB will gradually enhance its existing impact measurement and reporting tools and methodologies.
