By letter dated 6 September 2010, the French Republic nominated Ms Sandrine Gaudin (Deputy Director, European Affairs, in the General Treasury Directorate, Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment), currently Alternate Board member for appointment as a Full Member of the Board of Directors and Mr Jean Boissinot (Head of Office, Bilateral Relations and European Financial Instruments, Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment) as an Alternate Member of the Board of Directors, following the resignation from the Board of Directors as of 2 August 2010 of Mr Michel Houdebine.

By letter dated 9 September 2010, the Board of Governors was invited to vote on the proposed appointments.

The decision to appoint Ms Sandrine Gaudin and Mr Jean Boissinot was taken on 29 September 2010, the date on which the requisite majority of Governors' votes was reached.

The terms of office of Ms Gaudin and Mr Boissinot will expire in 2013, at the end of the day of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors during which the annual report, balance sheet and profit and loss account for the 2012 financial year are examined.
