President of Moldova pays a visit to the European Investment Bank

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir VORONIN, visited the European Investment Bank on the occasion of his official one day visit to Luxembourg on 19 June. During a working lunch with EIB President Philippe Maystadt, Mr. Voronin discussed possibilities for future cooperation between Moldova and the EIB. Discussions surrounded the financing of projects in key areas of common interest for both Moldova and the Bank, among them transport, energy, telecommunications, and environmental infrastructure.
