As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Treaty of Rome and the inauguration of the new «walking route», which will become part of the renowned walking routes maintained by the City Tourist Office of Luxembourg, the European Investment Bank will host open days for the public on Saturday 5th May from 10:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs and on Sunday 6th May from 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs.
Visitors will be offered the opportunity to view part of the EIB’s premises together with a photographic exhibition on past and present activities of the EIB. A small selection of art works of the Bank will also be on view.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to learn more about recent environmental projects that the Bank has financed and on the ongoing construction of EIB’s office building on the Kirchberg.
The European Investment Bank is located at 100, Blvd Konrad Adenauer and is a short walk from the Philharmonie. On the 5th May (afternoon only) visitors will also be able to make the short trip by navette leaving from the Philharmonie.
