  • Le Secrétariat général est chargé de mettre en œuvre et de suivre le processus d’élaboration des décisions ainsi que d’assurer les services de secrétariat pour l’ensemble des instances dirigeantes de la Banque. Il définit la stratégie institutionnelle (y compris le Plan d’activité) et produit des analyses économiques sur l’incidence des activités et des nouveaux produits potentiels de la BEI sur l’emploi et la croissance. Son champ de compétences couvre aussi la coordination et le développement des relations avec les institutions de l’UE, les organismes internationaux, les agences de financement du développement et les organisations non gouvernementales. Il est également chargé de la communication et des questions liées à la responsabilité d’entreprise.
